Cork Hurlers - Part 2

For the first time in decades, I'm hugely proud of a losing performance.

That was absolutely outstanding from our guys. Met the 3 in a row champions at, or close to, their best, in their own backyard, and damn near beat them in a knockout game. Outstanding.

When you look at the five teams in Munster, there's nothing in it. And Cork have by far and away the most potential for improvement. The future is definitely bright, and definitely red. Stick with it boys.

A lot of what ifs, things could have turned out a lot different especially leaving it after us against Clare. Got to hand it to Limerick they are some outfit despite not being the well oiled machine of a few years ago.

A bit disappointed in the calls made by management team or lack of it in some situations but they are on a learning curve aswell. Im sure they learned just as much and will put things to right.

Hopefully Connolly & Coleman will be back next year. If they recover their previous form, them will be a very significant addition to the team. Another reason to be positive about 2024.

Ah f**k it, we failed to come out of Munster and finished 1 point ahead of Waterford who had a disastrous campaign. This is a disaster, just because we ran limerick to 1 point seems to be classed as a moral we died with our boots on effort…. Proud of the team. I am gutted and not in much form for handing out praise or plaudits. We are ranked 4 in Munster and the table doesn’t lie .
