The cheap one in Lidl is nicer than Paddys. It has a slight honey taste.Yep. And the hot water takes the edge off harsher whiskies like Paddy
Myself and herself did a tour of Royal Oak distillery in Carlow a few years ago, and in the tasting at the end they gave us a 56% cask finished edition of The Irishman. Herself asked them if they had a splash of cola. Ffs.

I got a couple of bottles for christmas presents for friends. Bought one for myself too but I’ve never actually tasted it. For €10 it was worth a chance.I got a bottle.
