Ian Bailey ?

To use good whiskey for hot whiskeys is sacrilege in my book.

Yep. And the hot water takes the edge off harsher whiskies like Paddy

Myself and herself did a tour of Royal Oak distillery in Carlow a few years ago, and in the tasting at the end they gave us a 56% cask finished edition of The Irishman. Herself asked them if they had a splash of cola. Ffs.

They didn't BTW.

The cheap one in Lidl is nicer than Paddys. It has a slight honey taste.
I've been to the Jameson tour in Midleton. I'd recommend it. Interesting and a good few free shots after. No mixers though at these tours. Little plastic shot glasses on trays.

Baileys is deceptively string for someone like you. I'd make a mug of coffee and instead of milk use the Baileys. Very tasty. My Christmas drink is hennessys mixed with Baileys. Knock you out. Don't chance it
