Cork hurling goalkeepers 2022

I would prefer to see dalton tried as a forward where he has excelled for his club, goalkeeping is a specialist position and for cork certainly needs to be looked at, the current cork number 2 played in goal for CIT tonight and ignoring the number of goals he conceded (not all his fault, CIT were outmatched everywher)that must have been his first game in the position since playing Wexford in the league?
He is an outfield sub for his club currently, this position needs to be looked at carefully for 2023 there are some excellent club keepers many with intercounty underage experience who deserve a chance

I like the idea as a hybrid sub that can be used as outfield or goalkeeper.

The thing is though is if Dalton is flying it out the field and god forbid Collins gets injured during a game you're potentially taking away one of your best forwards to put him in goals. What if Dalton is equally as good in the goals as he is as a forward, how do you make the choice of which to put him in come matchday.

Doubt there's any truth to the idea of Dalton going in goal, would be a ridiculous move really. Some lads are are making a legend out of Dalton since he's been injured, just let him concentrate on getting back to inter county fitness and making a claim for a spot in the forward line

To me I can't see a keeper in the county to touch Pa Collins, by all means try out a few but to me there's no one obvious standing out
