Ultan Conlon, Galway based, internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter whose lyrics, melodies & mellifluent voice have resonated with Mary Coughlan, Eddi Reader, Gaby Moreno and Hollywood star John C Reilly. Ultan has shared an LA stage with Jackson Brown, Shelby Lynn & Nickel Creek among many others.
With 5 acclaimed studio albums under his belt, 2 produced by Grammy award winners Sean Watkins (Nickle Creek) and David Garza (Fiona Apple) in LA, 1 film soundtrack & score (Songs for Amy 2012) Ultan can be heard on National & International Radio.
Hotpress Magazine described “There's a Waltz” (2020) as "a winning collection...songs of substance told with intelligence and wry observation” On the week of 17 April 2020, RTE Radio 1 made Conlon's There's a Waltz their album of the week.
"Sparks of the Divine" was the first single and the official video was premiered by Americana UK where they said that Conlon's "clear, melodic vocal brings Roy Orbison to mind"
His last two records were Album of the Week on RTE Radio 1, BBC Radio Scotland Folk Show
and also Marty Whelan’s Album of the week on RTE Lyric FM.
Legend John Martyn was enthralled by Ultan’s “Really Gone” and recorded it in 2006. Mary Coughlan has also grabbed 3 songs penned by Ultan for release this year.

Please Note: The venue operates a pop up café which offers a range of liquid refreshments in exchange for CASH ONLY on the night. The Richmond Revival is in the centre of Fermoy and is accessible via Bus Éireann. There are also a number of ACCOMMODATION options available onsite ranging from budget double and twin rooms with a shared bathroom to a high end luxury suite. Campers and camper vans are also welcome. Email the venue directly for further information. Please further note that by purchasing a ticket to this event you are effectively, as part of your admission fee, are joining the Richmond Reivial cultural activity appreciation club and are bound by the rules of said club. Namely, No alcohol is permitted to be brought onto the premisis. Abusive behaviour towards volunteer staff will not be tolerated and general antisococial behaviour including tresspass onto private areas of Richmond House, which is a private home will result in immediate suspension of club membership and admittence/ejection from the building.
