Vulgar Victoria

When The Old Quarter estate was being opened in Ballincollig, similarly minded idiots organised a protest at the road names that were linked to the history of the Gunpowder Mills and were insisting they be named after dead patriots. Fucking Year 0 muppets.

Thanks for posting your view. However as you swore an oath of allegiance to the current UK monarch and took up arms to represent her army, your opinion, on this issue hardly warrants serious consideration now, does it?

Did Kimeartimmyboy really take the queen's shilling?
Contextualises a lot of the wierd opinions he expresses here right enough

Fair play to them for naming themselves rather than hiding behind masks and balaclavas.
Probably get done for criminal damage, via a legal system introduced by the Victorians.

I agree 100%

This "campaign" is fascist. These unelected vigilantes think they can vandalise our city and then say it's "civil disobedience." Victoria Road, Albert Road, Devonshire Street, Wellington Road, Kent Station, MacCurtain Street, Pearse Road, Roger Casement Park, are all parts of this city's heritage. Lavitts Quay is called after Jacques Lavite a French Lord Mayor we had. Montennotte, Tivoli, and others remind us of our cosmopolitan Heritage as a port city.

Trying to impose your modern day political beliefs on the whole city especially when you represent no one and have repeatedly tried and failed to get elected is fascism.

He should be arrested and charged with Vandalism.

Diarmuid Ó Cadhla contested the 2016 general election in the Cork south central constituency where he secured 1.6% of first preference votes, so that's a fair indication of how much of a mandate he has.

Now let's compare his handy work to what the Reimagine Cork people are doing. You can be a true patriot and show your pride in your heritage and in your city without resorting to cheap attention seeking acts of vandalism.
