So have you all booked those restaurants, worse night of the year to eat out I honestly think.

So what's the usual, is flowers or chocolates or both ?

What I hate about is, why the fuck is it that the Male has to be the one doing all the work here ?

We just get each other a card and have done since we got married 15 years ago. Both agreed it was pointless to do anything else, saying that we are heading away for the weekend so I guess that could be viewed as a valentines gift.

Either way, I couldn't give a shit about Valentine's day, never did.

When I was about 14, this gobshite that was on the school bus with me gave me a valentines card in front of everyone. EVERYONE!!

That was enough for me to be done with the day forever ;-)
