It's a great album in my opinion. Also a far worthier contender for album of 2009 than Animal Collective's Merriweather Post Pavilion

I dont think you can really compare the two really there are similar elements in the music bit animal collective are more electronic orientated whereas local natives are more guitar orientated but its all about personal taste i would say animal collective are a much better and varied band imo.
