Immigration Thread

Did they happen to ask any of the leaders of the three parties in power down here jimmy - or is this something else that you think is all SF's fault too? 😂

We've a Minister for Justice you couldn't trust to go to the shops for messages she's that useless and unaware of her brief. But...but....Sinn Féin
I would expect far more from any party than " a thought out solution is needed"

So what exactly has the current Minister for Justice - you know her that actually gets paid to oversee the job - given by way of an actual solution? Or Fianna Fail? Or the Greens?

Apart from deflecting and trying to lay some of the blame on Sinn Fein.

The Government policy, as evinced by your posts here, seems to be "Anything they got right, it's able governance! Anything they got wrong, Sinn Fein share at least some of the blame" Funny that.

Ms McEntee is currently putting the finishing touches to legislation that will allow returns of asylum seekers who have come across the Border and which will be implimented tomorrow..

Ireland will then begin sending asylum seekers back to the UK immediately after emergency legislation is passed enabling returns to restart, under the plans.

Lou Lou is just all over the shop yet again on this important subject.

This is bullsh*t and you know it. If the UK don't agree to take them back they're going nowhere or are just going to bounce back across again first chance they get. What a f##king mess.

As N.I. is in the E.C.J. jurisdiction due to the Brexit Windsor agreement what U.K. agrees to is neither here nor there.

Ms Mcentee? Christ.

What???? So if the UK refuses to take them back we're going to ECJ and they're going to make them do. How many decades is that going to take..
Do you really believe that the U.K. will take Ireland to the ECJ seeing as the ECJ declared Rwanda unsafe and the Tories want out of the ECJ?

The Tories are just electioneering talking all sorts.
