He sure had. We have produced so many brilliant dual players. It's a terrible shame it's no longer feasible.Tony wasn't known as Baby Jesus for nothing. Hurling and football, he had it all.
Was more or less told not to play with the school yesterday. Not fair really in my opinion, you only get a short time in school and should be left play with your friends.Any info on Adam O Sullivan Ballinhassig? Didn't see him in that team above and not playing simcox today. Has he a knock?
Tony o Sullivan was 19 in 1982,I must watch the game again but both Tony and Tim played on for most of the game at least and Tony stood out in the U-21 final a week later in Cork's win over Galway and was the highest scorer in that championship. He was also older than 19, in fact he was 21 at the time and he was the oldest of the group who went on to play senior from the U-21 champions that year which also included Ger Cunningham, John Hodgins, Kevin Hennessy and 2 subs Tomas Mulcahy & Pat Hartnett. Tomas Mul scored a cracking goal in the '83 final and he was still a year younger than Tony Sull was in the '82 final so this idea Tony was too young and frail is only bull. Tony sufferred a knock and so did Tim Crowley and it affected both their performances but as a team Cork were caught off guard, the biggest problem was that Martin O'Doherty wasn't match fit after returning from the U.S.
Simcox cup. Its grand. West Cork teacher cribbing. Was more or less told not to play with the school yesterday. Not fair really in my opinion, you only get a short time in school and should be left play with your friends.

The same happened last year with Ross O Sullivan I believe,in the O Callaghan CupThat's terrible interference from whoever
told him not to play.
I know it wasn't the biggest game in the world but let him play away with the school. It's only the first round of u20 next week not the Munster final or anything. The inter county managements are getting too much say really, wasn't there something else with the football management at u20 stopping players playing club games.Simcox cup. Its grand. West Cork teacher cribbing.
