Red- What would be your team vs Limerick?I’d agree with all that. Sean is that type of player but he hasn’t yet shown enough to be a starter, I think we have to play Tim at 12 with Deccie at 10, although for the Limerick game I would get them to swop wings.
That's amazingly consistentClare had reeled our 7 point lead in thought in the five minutes before the red card. Ironically we might have been better off if Sean O’Donoghue had missed that block and we’d gone a goal down but kept 15 men on the field rather than keeping it out and conceding a goal to an overload a couple of minutes later. Either way yesterday is only one data point. Look at the scores conceded in the last 5 championship matches.

An average of 32.2. There are plenty of individual backs who have done well in that time but there’s more to defending than that. It’s about how you defend as a unit from 1-15, how you mind possession, how you set up for puckouts and other transitions. It’s not even like you’d look at teams conceding big scores and scoring big and saying “oh well you can’t win a championship like that it’s unsustainable” we can’t win a fucking match.
Yes in theory
Need Tipp to b eat Waterford
Limerick to beat Waterford
Clare to beat Waterford
Clare to beat Tipp
Cork beat Tipp
Very unlikely serious of results but you never know
That's assuming we lose to Limerick
Do we still think Joyce is our 6 for the next decade? Pair him with B Roche and release him to the middle of the pitch. There’s your 2 gods of war. Get Eoin Downey out to 6 and E Roche at FB.
He’s been cleaned twice in this championship. He’s there to be got at now.No leave Joyce at 6
And surely Kingston is worth a look there.Kevin Lyons from u20 team looks a decent prospect for fb position too.
