Wuhan Wheeze

In England it is to try and get Johnson off.
In Ireland there is more of a basis for the removal of restrictions with our vaccination and booster rate.

It will be interesting to see what happens w.r.t masks and sanitising and social distancing.

After every battle a few snipers will still lurk in the shadows. Their plan is to slow you down while their army regroups.
Suddenly when you think you've finally won you are faced with a new battle, the enemy is now using new weapons and the battle commences again......

The Department of Health has been notified of 5,523 additional PCR-confirmed cases of Covid-19, as well as 5,048 positive antigen tests registered through the HSE portal.

The latest figures show the number of patients with Covid-19 in hospital is 896, down 14 from yesterday.

Of those, 90 patients are being treated in ICUs - unchanged from yesterday.

Case numbers are falling, hospital numbers are holding steady, as are ICU. We'd have considered this a very positive situation a month ago when it seemed like we were staring into the abyss.

I think we've turned a corner with this virus.
