Some people like to hand-wash their motors and the like. F**k knows but the Irish Water spokesman said it could take 2 weeks worth of rainfall to lift the ban. The amount of rain that's fallen the last two days might be enough.

I checked the water table level in a rural area of east cork and is not up to what it was last Easter. I think we need to be cautious still about lifting the ban

East Cork? I thought it was just a West Cork problem over the hosepipe ban.

I didn't go to West cork ok but had reason to go to east cork as my aunt lives there. I don't think I will be going to West cork soon.
