Women's Euro 2022

Nah bud, there's a difference between using the defender for leverage and getting the jump on them and then getting the arm on.
🤔
She used the defender for leverage and illegally prevented her from jumping Clou. However, it was English wenches playing at home so it wasn't going to be chalked off so late in the game to give Spain victory. Men's Euro 96 springs to mind. 😏

Is it me or do England also look like they are coached in simulation?
Ellen White clearly dived for the penalty last week, Mead and Hemp both took tumbles last night (one out of the GAA playbook where she grabbed the Spaniard arms and just fell down, taking her with her and earning a free).
Mead also dived at the edge of the box in the second half with the ref giving nothing - clearly biased co commentator gave her praise for getting on with it when fouled

it was a clear foul but not checked by VAR for some reason, a penalty was given to Iceland the previous night for far less after a VAR check.
This tournament has been enjoyable, standard is good except for the keepers. Another huge advantage to England is that they play the winners of the Swe-Bel match in their semi but for some reason that's not on until tomorrow night so they have two days extra rest. So bit of hometown stuff going on i guess.
