The sleeping giant is on the banks of the Suir, just up from Cahir Castle.

The mural is in Kilkenny. The characters on it are from the Cartoon Saloon animation studio in Kilkenny.

I was staying in the SE recently and had a day set aside to visit Cahir castle but it never happened. I think I might have seen that Sleeping Giant on Nationwide.
