A winding down of operations in Gaza has allowed Israel to turn its attention to the West Bank, with devastating effects, says Guardian columnist Nesrine Malik

100 killed in Gaza since the ceasefire and now electrcitiy has been cut off as well as aid last week. In the West Bank 1,000 people have been killed by the army and settler violence over the last year which includes 224 children. Things have only gotten worse in the West Bank since the ceasefire in Gaza as the army now has the resources available to concentrate on the West Bank...........again the West Bank militant groups had nothing to do with October 7th.
Should be noted that Israel was also one of the states that voted against the UN motion condemning the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
