I tried to get people to explain what it is makes them think Venezuela is socialist. That took a lot of posts, as they repeatedly ducked the question. That exchange was what exposed the thread as being embarrassingly awful.

So why don't you explain why Venezuela was/is not socialist?

Most of the world says Venezuela is socialist. You are going against the grain, claiming its not.

I think it is reasonable to ask you why it is not.

For instance, on another website I see people making erroneous claims about Bernie Sanders being a socialist, and some reasonable people explaining over and over again, why he is not, and the difference between social democracy and socialism.



But, if you don't want to be reasonable, then don't. No skin off my nose.
