I would garner a guess and say the woman suggests something and the man just agrees. ? As for responsibility? Is there a responsibility? Some couples don't even be arsed with it tbh ?

We don't generally celebrate it. The kids make us cards in school and I might bake something heart shaped for the family, but no gifts/dinners etc.

Ahhh, FFS...

Valentine's is for young stupid people paying 20 times the value for a red flower they could easily rob from a neighbour's garden, while stressing over trying to book an overpriced restaurant.

Probably won't even get laid at the end of it because yer wan in her 15 times too short skirt and shoes with heels she can't even walk in will have too much to drink, and end up throwing up for hours on end.

So, no. No plans.
