Met a Norrie in the stardust one night,
Raving about her when I met the lads,
F beer goggles,
When she turned up I walked the legs off her ,
Down to the marina n back ,quick march,
Must be up for work etc etc
Legged it,
Convinced she sent her mate instead of her to this day
Complete different looking woman turned up to what I remembered,
Maybe she thought the same ?
Lesson learned,no more Wans out of the stardust for me fein
I knew a few lads who worked as board boys in bookies, None of these fancy screens then, The woman on the tannoy would call the prices
and a marker would be used on a sheet of paper,
