Sure aren't all farmers the families of Cromwells soldiers who were given land instead of the back pay they were owed.Economically Ireland would have been better off staying in the UK, at least from the 1920s-1990s.
Mucksavages one and all.

3.50 for a bottle of cola. The recycle/return scheme is a really good initiative and will end up working very well once people get used to it.
Then they have achieved one of their objectives. People have 3 choices:3.50 for a bottle of cola.

I'm constantly recyclingThen they have achieved one of their objectives. People have 3 choices:
1. Recycle more bottles and cans
2. Buy less bottles and cans
3. Pay more for bottles and cans.
Most people will fall into one. Those that fall into two will reduce their carbon footprint accordingly. Only those most foolhardy and stubborn will fall into three and therefore provide more money to the exchequer to develop measures to combat climate change.
As am I but an estimated 30% of recyclable bottles and cans is not recycled so this scheme is designed to reduce that. It may be inconvenient but I suspect we’ll be doing things that are far more inconvenient in the years to come.I'm constantly recycling
