The purpose of Topic grinder

Here, does anyone else notice that topic grinder just goes around commenting on peoples posts but noone engages with him apart from dt and slob. He's like a dog pissing on every lamppost.

This confuses me as they can't stand each other. What is with this shameless bumming?
