Bald & Bankrupt is a Youtube channel where Englishman Ben Rich travels to many countries, especially Russian and post Soviet countries, bigging up how much better life was under Soviet control. He's entertaining but there's a lot of dark shit out about him as well.
You'd probably be shitting yourself too if you were facing the gulag. I seen the video of the interagation, the clip Bald released anyway and he seemed to handle himself well tbf. I read a small bit on reddit about it struck me as begrudgery against a successful youtuber, it wouldn't put me off watching his content. He made an excellent series in South and Central America last year I think following the migrant trail.
Love his channel, very articulate, professional and well put together.
He's buddies with Harald Baldr. Red flag. I still watch him, but he has the languid air of an expert sex tourist.
