United are a fucking joke m8. I can't see why any top player would sign for them now, barring maybe a British or Irish kid who grew up a United fan.

They still have huge pull and resources. The fear is they'll get their act together and if they do, they can get back challenging in no time.

United's window thus far has involved wasting 7 weeks trying to sign a Dutch player who doesn't want to sign for them, Managing to persuade a 30 year old free transfer to sign a 3 year deal and haggling over two players with Ajax.

After seven weeks their only bit of business has been a fullback who is an unknown to most.

None of the problem areas have been addressed.
