We can’t change it but looked a pen to pretty much everyone and it’s fine to say it now because we’d have taken a draw beforehand but that could be a huge moment come May.

But overall you have to admire the way we went about business today. I think we started without 5 starters really and should have beaten City really, despite going behind. Real quality in our play at times. VVD and Mac making the whole thing tick.

But it might prove to be a chance missed really.

Yeah, you’d have to be happy with the performance against that City team, we have played second best to them a few times and still drew the game. Either way, you’d be optimistic for the rest of the season. ‘Van Guire’ was top class and Quansah too, very solid. Gomez had a great game, Foden didn’t get a sniff off of him one on one. Szob and McAllister were top class probing City and Endo is the surprise of the season, tidying up ball and always finding a teammate with his passes.

Need an Arsenal-Man City draw. A 3 pt cushion over Man City is needed as winning all their other games very possible for Man City while extremely unlikely for Liverpool.

Diaz getting unfair flack, he played really well, he had one clear chance that he should score, keeper does really well making himself huge-between his legs is the place to put it. I would be more annoyed with Diaz for not chasing Walker back a few times,
great to see Bradley, Gomez, Quansah, Elliot, Kelleher all looking comortable in a big game like this and the midfield more than holding their own,
interesting how both managers took off players who the opposition were probably happy to see go off,
so Sparta on Thurs (Adrian to play?) and ManU in cup on Sun

Unlikely, we don’t get United at Anfield until next season. With their PL position, they’d have to come out and play now unlike in December with their eleven fannies behind the ball effort.
