Gravenberch did well. Endo was brutal. Bajcetic is better in the Trent role than Gomez but that wouldn’t be hard. Doak has a lot to learn.

Those are my takes from the game. Onto the next. Would probably want to stop making a habit of going behind. It’s fine against the dross but not so fine against the better sides.

Both are very new to the whole setup, Doak is just a kid and Endo is gone from a team struggling at the bottom to a team that dominates most games. His use of possession is poor because I think he’s more used to breaking up play than passing the ball around.

Time will tell on him but he’s not after a good start to life at the club but he might adjust. Looks more a squad option than anything which is what his fee and age would have suggested anyway.

I was impressed with Gravenberch last night. He showed glimpses of his quality and is defo more of a box to box midfielder than a number 6 which we still need.
