Hopefully good times are just around the corner. The club was taken over just over a year ago and so far the new owners have done a superb job on and off the pitch. Hopefully a successful season on the way.

Never heard of him. Just googled him. He played for Town 48 times and I’d guess most of them were in the 70’s.

I watched a documentary on Aston Villa's European Cup win. Didn't know how close Ipswich were to winning the league in 81.

They should have won the league. The were under huge pressure with the games in hand built up from the good run in the FA Cup and obviously the UEFA cup win. The players were wrecked. What a great team Town had.

He played the last two but was rested tonight. He’s had a busy pre-season with Leeds and between that and the move it was the right decision. He looks a very good player.
