The Official Financial Fair Play (FFP) Thread

Anything less than relegation will be a complete cop out.
The punishment given to Everton needs to be used as a bassline, they were deduced 10 points later reduced to 6 for a 16.6m pound breach of FFP over a 3 year period.

When you scale this up for the shit City have pulled over the last decade they should be playing in conference next season.

Read speculation that its likely they'll have their first 3 league titles taken off them and pay a hefty fine on top of that.
Imo that's not good enough as they also need to be relegated.

They should be relegated but I really doubt they will be, football is a dirty sport behind the scenes and only 1 thing really matters $$$$$

They should be even more harshly dealt with as they have obstructed the investigation at every turn and used every legal instrument available to delay any judgement.

I hope they throw the book at them.

(I doubt we will see anything take effect this season as they will drag this through the courts).
I wouldn't be surprised if it's a number of years with appeals etc

Should.

No chance they will though. If City are proved to have cheated to this level then the box of frogs that it opens could be explosive.

Most players have CL/Relegation clauses in contracts.

The loss of earnings lawsuits arising from City cheating is a problem the PL will want to run a mile from.

They’ve absolutely ruined the game in England. British government will side with City on this.

The county’s finances are in the shit and they’ll do nothing to jeopardise the flow of oil money into the country. The football money is a drop in the ocean overall compared to what Abu Dhabi invest in the uk

my gosh

relegate pep and city with there boring woeful football to the conference

everton, everton, everton, erverton, erveton, everton
what about everton and there points deductiion. everton

That will be an extra two titles for United and one for the Scousers *spits*

TSO wins another league

Their avenues are limited as the premier league doesn't answer to the court of arbitration for sport (got them out of their champions league ban).

I'd like to see it being stipulated that if they fight the punishment it will be increased.

Is there a precedent for titles won under financial doping to be taken from the "winner" and awarded instead to the runners up?
