Away from home, losing 4/5 tosses. The spin by Sky and the press would have you believe the brilliant Boys in White were absolutely robbed of their divine right to the 'big' trophy. Will someone please tell Sky the Aussies retained the ashes

Can't stand that term.World Cup got going this morning lads - England V Black Caps. England's bazball swagger very much in evidence early on but the NZ attack have recovered. No Southee and no Williamson, so NZ have bowled well considering.
England currently 255-9 - the last four wickets have fallen for just 30 runs in 7 overs. They probably won't even bat out the full 50. NZ defo giving themselves the chance of a successful chase.
looking back at this wc post, we have seen so often in soccer and rugby how the winners are often unimpressive early in the tournament,Some decent showings from the underdogs so far - Netherlands gave NZ a decent game yeaterday, Sri Lanka batted really well against Pak and today Afghanistan have done a fine job against the Indian attack. No unexpected victories - but decent cricket played by these teams.
Aus are the biggest disappointment in the first week - a poor show against India on Sunday for sure.
At least the pitches are paying consistently through the games - none of this big second innings advantage like UAE a few years ago.
Look like it'll finish today, one way or another. SA already 5 down and still behind! The pitch must be all over the shop. last five India wickets went for 0. Another two SA wickets gone for 42 in the 2nd innings - although that's a lot better than this morning. 22 wickets in one day - and counting...
