Why would it be a scandal if he's gay that wouldn't be a scandal if he's not gay???? We voted for same-sex marriage jimmy. Most people couldn't give a tuppeny fart for whether the guy is gay or not. His sexuality does NOT make him any more, or any less, of a Thatcherite c*nt imho.

Tbf, I'd say if any leader resigned so suddenly , there would be talks of a potential scandal.
Of course, also possibility that he has been diagnosed with serious illness.
