The Hurling Thread

Goals are vital corkfan82. Totally agree we haven’t shown the ruthlessness to kill teams that way given the level of dominance we sometimes have.
Cork forwards routinely keep themselves in a game with a big score during a burst.
Clare have gotten quite good at opening up teams that way. Tk obviously but mark rogers is very good at putting the head down
Agree, its a strange one, I suspect its strategy from mgmt, take the point instead of the risk on not executing the goal when on. Dominant teams like KK would murder teams with goals, Tipp also in the past and it was Clares 3 goals to our 1 which did for us in the final.

Barry murphy impressive for limerick at corner back, that's twice now playing in a position I didn't see him playing .interesting option going forward ,could mean looking at barry nash moving out to play wing back with license to go forward as he does anyway from the corner.

How would Nash move out to wing back. Would you move Hayes further up to accommodate
You've already go Byrnes and Hannon

Nash out to half back, even centre back and leave K Hayes to continue bombing forward from wing back.

I think you are half negating Hayes forward runs by playing him centre back
