I'm spending the long weekend by myself, playing computer games and watching the television.
Maybe some light internet browsing as well.

I can only dream of your life. Nobody to please but yourself. I think I took a wrong turn somewhere.

Got up this morning and walked to the shop for a carton of milk. Bumped into Mrs Murphy on the way back and she was telling me about Mrs Sullivan’s hiatal hernia. Sounds sore tbh.

Took the dag on a 1 1/2 hour walk in de woods. Met some people out running/ orienteering. Had to leave my coat open as it was so warm. Planted a young sapling in the woods that I grew from a chestnut at home. The brains of the operation had breakfast cooked when I got home. Heaven!

Last Wednesday I put my bins out at 4pm, as usual, to be collected the following morning.

Then I spent the evening looking through the nearly-closed curtains of my living room window. Recording the times my neighbours put their bins out. The guy across the road didn't put his out until 10.07pm. What kind of a feking animal is he?

This thread deserves a bumping. I’m taking inspiration from the Dull Men’s Club on Facebook. I’ll start.

I love trains. Every time I get the train to Dublin I watch Dick Warner’s Series Ironing the Land.
