I'd say it must slow them down having to drag it around the place.
Plus it gives them no protection these days.
I'd say i must of commited a mini snail genocide while cutting the lawn today.
I hate stepping on snail shells and hearing the crunch, bad karma.
I'd say it must slow them down having to drag it around the place.
Plus it gives them no protection these days.

I collect snails/slugs and keep them in a jar.
(I prick holes in the lid so they can breath. I'm not a sadist!)
Then after a good puff, I get my container of salt and build a little salt circle and take one out and put him in the middle.
I watch as they slowly move toward it and wonder what it must feel like for them as they touch it.
Obviously they retreat to the other side to escape but alas THEY'RE TRAPPED!
So much fun.... Well, until me stone wears off and I feel guilty and give em some lettuce if they haven't died from sodium chloride poisoning.
Some water too in a bottle top if they've dehydrated their bodies.
I think that's what the Americans shoulda done in Guantanamo, made a big salt circle. Handy for extra seasoning if McDonalds didn't give them enough.
How's the recession hitting the salt industry , anyone know? Haven't heard a mention anywhere about it.
