Slurry Boy

Lots of questions about where he is "really" from too *eyeroll*

As if anyone with that accent could be from anywhere except Mitchelstown!
One of the most offensive questions anyone could ever be asked too.
I think that’s a bit of an overreaction, It seems more like people are just surprised by the unexpected mix of a young Asian person from Mitchelstown talking about slurry at the Ploughing Championships!

Quite often it’s not meant maliciously but it’s offensive. There are black, Asian, mixed race Irish people. Asking where someone is really from tells that person you don’t think they’re Irish.

It's not in the slightest.
That fool sees racism everywhere.

Apparently marrying a foreigner cured him of his hatred of travellers. It a modern miracle haha.
The people in the comment section were not asking him about it though. They were saying that he wasn't or couldn't actually be from Mitchelstown.

The interviewer asked him where he was from and he said Mitchelstown.

The comment section of what? What on earth are you talking about?

Pussyinboots wrote 'I'm sure he's proud of his Asian heritage, why on earth is it offensive to ask him about it"?

Theres nothing remotely 'offensive' in that.
