Sinn Fein and the Suspicious Scandals

The OP has a point though. It's funny how the media only seem to care about these heinous acts when SF are doing well in the polls. What's up with that?

Illusion.

SF have been doing well in the polls for years. What are people meant to do, wait until SF suffer a dip in the polls? You're only allowed to reveal the rape cover-ups when barstoolers won't claim it's a conspiracy?

It could actually backfire on FF & FG. Apparently Mairia Cahill approached Michael Martin 2 years ago, now Kenny is meeting the 4 people involved in the kangaroo court, like why is it Kenny's job to cross-examine? Why not leave it up to the law?

The media only report the news. As Sinn Fein are a political party, with their wages being funded by the State (ie the taxpayers), surely they're entitled, in fact obligated to report any of their wrongdoings, past or present.

It just so happens that the two recent big sex scandals involve Sinn Fein.

Aine Tyrell reported her rapes by her father, Liam Adams, who coincidentally is still a member of Sinn Fein, to the police and the media reported it.

And more recently, Mairia Cahill, who gave up her entitlement to anonymity to tell her story of rapes and kangaroo courts to the media.

I don't understand how someone can blame the media for reporting the news.

I think you'll find the media's interest in SF and some of their members association with heinous acts pre dates them doing well in the polls.

I noticed the media also reports on a whole range of heinous acts by individuals who are in no way associated with any political party or movement.

Thanks for all the various explanations lads.

What about the arrest of Adams before the local and European elections? I guess there was nothing going on there either, as the PSNI arrest all sorts of people all the time?

It's refreshing to watch English politics where they dispute nhs funding, stay in or out of Europe, workers wages, ECONOMIC POLICY, TAXATION etc.and are not obsessed by SEX AND WATER METERS
