I for one have no issue with this. As long as people don’t engage in homophobic behaviour I’ve no problem with people not showing support for pride etc if they don’t want to.

I miss the days when we didn’t know the political, religious or social opinions of public figures.

It's like if you had an elderly person in somewhere like Abbeyfeale or Clonmel, who isn't necessarily a fan of gays but doesn't care at the same time.

And then they're told to wear an armband to show that they're in support of gays.

Why not tell people to wear striped pyjamas while we're at it.
