This is a war that should never have happened. There was no reason for the the US to meddle in and destabilize Ukraine in 2008 (Bush jnr with NATO) and 2014 (the coup the State Dept orchestrated) other than a stupid attempt to bulk up its waning global influence.

A disaster now for Ukraine. Russia does what Russia does. The US and it’s junior partner Israel are as bad or worse. All wars are sickening and grotesque.

Vlad the Mad appears to be in some shit, His army conducts a slow motion Blitzkreig, and gets stuck in the mud, and is now reduced to medieval siege tactics, his airforce cannot take out the Ukrainian mobile SAM systens, his navy retreats from off Odessa because it would be suicidal to try a contested amphibuous landing without air superiority, Superpower me arse. The West will have to try to find a face saving exit for him to stop him from continuing to slaughter the Ukrainian people

Good post but Gen Wesley Clarke said yesterday there is no off ramp for Vlad or should there one be created for him, he either wins or loses simple as. He is gone too far to receive any redemption and let’s be honest the Western powers will are happy to let the Ukrainians be slaughtered until Vlad is removed by his own. There would at least have been humanitarian no fly corridors if they gave a toss about the Ukrainians.
