Russia has launched a disinformation campaign seeking to sow division between Ukrainians and its Hungarian community, according to Kyiv.
Ethnic Hungarians have been receiving text messages telling them to "get out of Ukraine", Ukraine's Centre for Countering Disinformation said.
While the texts claim to be from Ukrainian nationalists, the CCD said they were sent from accounts in Kazakhstan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Kyrgyzstan.
"Realising that Ukrainian strength is the unity of the people, Russia seeks to split Ukrainian society," said the CCD.
"Don't let the enemy deceive you and control your mind."
