Mulholland Drive was on TV so I watched it again. It's a film with a lot of memorable scenes and it works as a darkly black comedy about the movie making industry in LA, leaving aside the crazy plot taking place in the brain of a dying starlet. /10

Yep, that was my recollection from 20 odd years ago, but watching it again I was surprised how mild it was.
