You’re probably right, I don’t drink Guinness but my old fella does and I thought that’s what it was.

Beamish can still be got around for 4.50 in certain places.

Lager is gone nuts the price of it.

I’ve stopped drinking it in pubs in the most part. You could be right about the Guinness my estimation was a bit low

It's actually scary how quickly the pints add up on a night out. You'd be out for a match and before you know it you've spent €40 on something that you're literally going to piss away.

I find now that I'm very conscious about how many pints I'm having. Before I'd just order another one if I wanted it, but these days I'm always doing the maths and I'll pull the plug when I've spent a certain amount.

€40 for 6 or 7 drinks in town based on the costs mentioned above is far from value.
