I heard this this morning from from the mother of one of the coppers that was called to the scene. She said her daughter was very upset at what's happened. This gang are going around terrorising elderly, vulnerable people. Unfortunately this unfortunate guy had defended his wife and home but the culprit came out the wrong side. Apparently some Irish pikies. And the clown driving the getaway car threw the victim (?) out of the car and he since died. The cops told the elderly couple not to go back to their house for fear of retribution!
Like that farmer in Norfolk a few years ago who got out of prison a day after his burglar did!!
He has been arrested for questioning. Once the police have all the facts they will decide who, if anyone, should be charged with an offence. All pretty standard procedure
