Great old footage.
The first pub with the James J Murphy on it was Hayes on Glen Ryan Road, the building is still there and is a private house now,the camera is set up outside the Glenryan bar looking down towards it. The bar with all the lads outside it is Flaherty's at the top of Shandon Street you can see the railings of the North Cathederal in the background . Paddy Flaherty who owned it at one time was a sales man for Irish Distillers and it's him that the Paddy whiskey is named after.

His son or grandson...but I'm thinking son Pat Flaherty worked in Murphys Brewery in the late 80s early 90s as a manager in the brewing side of the business.
