To the right of the hotel entrance was called the Buttery, a bar with a small dance floor if memory serves me, early 80s...think it used close at normal bar times...u would then move on to next door,the other part of complex which had a bigger nightclub/dance hall...no guarantee you'd get in though even though same bouncers had left you into the Buttery earlier. ?
Old Coughlan himself or his wife would usually be at kiosk inside door taking money...almost impossible to get in free even though 1 or 2 of the bouncers were sound
