Safe to say The Rock didn't get the main event as he wanted it so no showed?
I'd doubt that, but it went from the most interesting story to a dud when he no showed the last 6 weeks.

I get he's busy, but he could have cut a few vignettes and turned up for ten minutes Sunday if he'd wanted to.

The reason I'd doubt he wanted the main event and no showed is he wanted it last year, but when the fans revolted he still showed.

When that bellend Travis Scott walked out I thought Rock next to screw Cody and boy what a flop it was when that was the run in. I also didn't "believe" in Cena v Cody at all. Punk, Roman and Seth made me believe they all wanted to batter each other.

A disaster of a Mania overall and I'm sticking with my theory and there's a reason it went down like it did.

Definitely something dubious alright. Especially when the Rock posted that he was just cruising round Hawaii that night in his truck.

Fair enough, agree to disagree. But either way, it was a right royal fuck up to have Rock at elimination chamber and then disappear off the face of the earth. Might have saved it had he turned up at Mania, but it's ruined now.

And WTF does Drew McIntrye have to do to get a goo run with one of the main titles, or at least a decent feud going. His feud with Punk was the best thing from the last 18 months or so, and he gets pretty much a nothing match for Mania.

Tbh, I'd given up on WWE for years but they hooked me back in last year, and WM 40 delivered big time. Some drop in quality this year though.

With Drew I agree. He has all right to be pissed off at getting a match with Priest at mania given his work the past two years involving roman, seth and punk. He got short changed this year. I am truly fascinated and intrigued to what will come out over the next few months regarding the Rock not being there.
