Official Cork City FC/LOI thread!

Really enjoyed the game tonight it’s been awhile since I’ve been to a city game, I was pleasantly surprised by the qaulity of the football played.

Friday night is such a great time to go watch a game and enjoy a few pints.

Maguire really is a cut above anyone on the pitch, City were by far the better team, outside of the goal against the run of play Bohs done every little

Exciting times ahead

What was the attendance?
5K, huge numbers for LOI and the atmosphere was brilliant.

It doesn’t take much for Cork people to get behind the team and show up.

The brand of football played tonight was very entertaining, moved the ball well and with a player of Maguire’s quality at this level they will win more than they lose.

They look to have a bit of fight about them

Seem to have signed well. Early days of course but the goalie, CB Anderson, Shipston in midfield all look good acquisitions. Couto at left back looks promising too. Then the two up top will always give you a chance. Thought Keating was off it for much of the game but still a threat and that's the sign of a good player. Got his goal in the end.

Sean Maguire off after 20 minutes.

There I was thinking he was getting back to his best.

Guy has has no luck with injuries
2 games in a short time frame mightn't have been the best idea for someone with his injury record. Easy to say in hindsight. He ran his socks off Friday night so body probably still under pressure.
