He used look after me with away tickets when I lived in Dublin and City would be playing up there. I remember there was a cup semi final at Dalymount where tickets for the City stand were scarce, but John had me sorted.

He also got me from Letterkenny to Ballybofey and back on one of his buses years ago, and wouldn't take a cent for it. A true legend and gentleman
