Two poor sides. City tried to play ball but lacked any real cutting edge. Short quality in midfield and up front in particular.

Galway defended well but could hardly put a few passes together. They didn’t really have to do much to keep a poor City team out. They were a far more physical side than City. Very John Caulfied type team.

Overall a draw would have been a fair result.

Huge crowd and you’d wonder how many will return after seeing that. Very poor standard of football. The effort was there. Just not good enough.
Was up in Bray,and pre season v UCD played attractive attacking football
Seemingly afraid to do same Friday night
Galway defence was solid keeper brilliant
After Dylan McGlade left we were clueless
Bench did nothing to rectify the problem
