Wilder, according to people who know a lot more about boxing than me (not hard tbh), is a one punch merchant who has never beaten anyone of note.Doesn't say much about Wilder.
Same, thought he'd figured Usyk out and was softening him up for a late rounds knockout.I thought he had Usyk in trouble around 6/7 he was hurting him with body shots. I genuinely didn't think Usyk would get to the end. But by god he did with bells on.
The likes of Bonecrusher and Frank Bruno, who I think were decent boxers, but never great, would have beaten most of this lot imho. Especially AJ and wilder, they have killed them.Imagine what Bonecrusher Smith would have done to him.
He'd have crushed his bones.
That's what he would have done.
Wilder would kill Bruno. The likes of Bonecrusher and Frank Bruno, who I think were decent boxers, but never great, would have beaten most of this lot imho. Especially AJ and wilder, they have killed them.
Fury, not sure.
Admittedly, they might have struggled against Usyk, who has a boxing brain.
I'd doubt it. Frank could box, had balance etc.Wilder would kill Bruno.
..i think
He did once beat former Olympic gold medalist Audrey Harrison.Wilder, according to people who know a lot more about boxing than me (not hard tbh), is a one punch merchant who has never beaten anyone of note.
I stand corrected. He did once beat former Olympic gold medalist Audrey Harrison.
Yeah, I'm not sure he'd have won on the front foot. Usyk seems very adaptable from what I've seen of him. But you could be right too.If he'd gone on the front foot at all he had that fight.
He let Usyk come at him and it eventually cost him.
There will be some hype for the rematch.
I agree with you - he isn't fit enough to go on offence for 12 rounds. Usyk looked like he could have gone another 12 rounds.Yeah, I'm not sure he'd have won on the front foot. Usyk seems very adaptable from what I've seen of him. But you could be right too.
It was a decent fight tbf. One of the better heavyweight clashes of the last few years. Wouldn't mind watching it again.
