NTFS Undelete FTW!

I deleted a folder before by accident before I moved the files to another, and was looking for a simple and fast file recovery app.

Ran that, selected my drive, and "Lost Files and Folders" was listed.

Just click the folders deleted there til ye see the name of the folders/files you deleted.

Click the Recover Marked files tab and youre done.


This is probably the easiest program ever to recover recently deleted files or folders.
I found GetDataBack useless because you need to know what sector range the files were in, otherwise you'll die waiting for it to scan all the sectors of your disk.

And the best thing, its completely freeware.

Tried that there, but you cant seem to select a path without using the wizard?
Bit annoying.

Also it doesnt find anything in the basic scan.

You should try out undelete, its definitely the fastest ive used for recently deleted files.

Obviously for files deleted a long time ago, or a hard drive that has been overwritten a lot, deep scanning is the way to go.
