Prefer the wildways gaff next door meself, always found the Nash staff a tad rude.... Got the impression they don't want non suit wearers in there

You had a sandwich and noodles? Is that not a bit odd?

I haven't been in there in years. Not since they've been closed on a Saturday. Regardless of the prices and quality, I always used to regard the proprietor as a thundering bitch, so I wouldn't have been in a hurry to go in.

*Shudder*

They do great breakfasts but to be honest she frightens the bejaysis out of me and i refuse to pay money to be scared like that!

I sometimes late breakfast in there if Mrs Anvy is making a day out of her retail therapy and it's a bit early for the Mutton.
I find any staff will only be rude to you if you let them and I always reproach them if they are.
My jaunty manner combined with authoritative but polite ordering always puts them firmly in their place.
As for the owner, I guess she likes to see herself in the Echo quite often and that can give some people ideas above their station but as long as she knows how to do my poached egg and smoked salmon I don't really care.
