LUAS for cork

For what is my experience, Ireland has one if not THE worst public transport system in Europe. Buses are very expensive, often they're dirty and the timetable is a joke.
In the end I got a car that I use basically only to go to my office and back.

However, to be fair, the drivers are very nice, which is a plus.

:lol!:

I think they are. If I ask for directions, they let me know where/when to get off. Sometimes they let me get off the bus even though the bus stop is further away.
This doesn't happen in other countries, or at least it's not always the case.
Try to do that on a London bus, good luck with that.

Wasn't there a cork and Muskerry light rail that went to blarney and Donaghmore?

And wasn't there a Ballincollig tram line?

anything the big, bad Brits put in was swiftly and fondly ripped out.

we became our own country and didnt need anything those bastarfs built!

pure backwards thinking that continues to this day.

In fact it was nothing to do with what you wrote, but carry on with the revisionism.

HINT: something something guerilla warfare, something something conventional warfare, something something infrastructure

Yes, it was know as the Muskerry Tram. Ran from around where the River Lee hotel now stands, out the Western and Carrigrohane roads.
